Need medicolegal clarity fast? MEDirect connects referrers with accredited experts nationwide, offering transparent pricing, faster reports, and secure, digital-first case management.

MEDirect offers a wide range of independent medicolegal assessments to support compensation claims, litigation, and insurance matters. These include Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs), Personal Injury (PI) assessments, Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) reports, Joint Medical Examinations (JME), as well as cases involving medical negligence, family law, employment-related disputes, and historical sexual abuse matters requiring trauma-informed expert evaluations.

Bookings can be made in several convenient ways: through our online booking platform, by calling 1300 001 633, or by emailing bookings@medirect.com.au. No matter which method is chosen, the MEDirect platform automatically captures and processes the booking, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience every time.

Yes. You can nominate a preferred or previously used medical expert when making a booking. You may book your nominated specialist through our online booking platform or by contacting us directly by phone or email.

Yes. MEDirect allows direct communication between referrers and medical experts. You are welcome to speak with the assessor before or after the appointment to provide additional context, ask questions, or discuss report findings.

Our average report turnaround time is 7 days. For urgent matters, we offer express reporting upon request and will prioritise timelines where possible.

We work with a large network of qualified medical specialists across all major disciplines including, but not limited to orthopaedics, psychiatry, neurology, occupational medicine, general medicine, pain management, and allied health. If your case requires a highly specific specialty, we will source an appropriate expert.

Yes. MEDirect regularly assists with urgent or short-notice medicolegal bookings. If your matter requires priority scheduling, please contact us and we will work to accommodate your timeframe as efficiently as possible.

Yes. All MEDirect reports are objective, comprehensive, and compliant with applicable legal and procedural guidelines. Our assessments are suitable for use in court, tribunals, and insurance claim reviews.

Yes. We offer telehealth assessments, particularly for psychiatric and psychological evaluations or claimants based in rural or remote areas. All telehealth services are conducted in line with legal and medical standards.

Yes. Our team provides full administrative support from start to finish. We manage bookings, liaise with medical experts, track timelines, and ensure reports are delivered accurately and on schedule. Our dedicated team can assist with any questions throughout the process.
